Before the initiation of hormone replacement therapy, there are certain labs needed which include: (Depending on the therapy, only certain labs are needed from the list below)
- Testosterone (free and total)
- SHBG (Sex hormone binding globulin)
- CBC
- CMP
- Estrogen
- Prolactin
- Cortisol
- DHEA
